Gallery > CASUAL ENCOUNTERS wins Best Feature at New York's AoBFF (16)

May 15-19, 2013: Honored with one of the festival’s two Opening Night slots, CASUAL ENCOUNTERS went on to win Best Feature Film at the 2013 Art of Brooklyn Film Festival (AoBFF) in New York City. Written and directed by Brooklyn-born filmmaker Will McCord, CASUAL ENCOUNTERS tells the stories of five lonely souls seeking love, adventure, thrills, comfort and companionship through the internet. The 80 minute comedy drama is McCord’s debut feature and was produced by Andrew K. Li, executive produced by Quantock's Samuel Garrick and shot by Bobby Webster – DP of the 2011 Oscar-winning short film, GOD OF LOVE. Now in its third year, AoBFF is unique in that it only screens films that have a meaningful connection to Brooklyn. Members of the 2013 AoBFF Judges Panel included actress Annabella Sciorra (JUNGLE FEVER, THE SOPRANOS) and actor Eric Mabius (RESIDENT EVIL, UGLY BETTY)
